Consultation has concluded

In financial year 2015/16, Council received a $200,000 grant from VicRoads to review traffic conditions along Queens Lane. Council is consulting with the community to develop options to upgrade the road.

To reduce congestion, Council is considering options for traffic treatments at congested points along Queens Lane.

We want your feedback on the following options:
  • Investigation into one-way traffic between Roy Street and Union Street
  • Review of access arrangements between Arthur Street and Kings Way

Upgrade works

From July 2016 upgrade works will be delivered to provide safety, street-scape and minor congestion improvements along Queens Lane. Find out about these works at http://www.portphillip.vic.gov.au/queens-lane-upgrade.htm

Next steps

All community feedback will be collated and presented to Council for consideration. Further detailed assessment into the feasibility of these changes will be undertaken prior to a decision. The community will be informed of Council’s decision and next steps.
