Exploring the Possibility of a Pump Track in Port Melbourne

Thank you for your feedback

From 25 November until 18 December 2022 we asked for your thoughts on the possibility of a pump track at RF Julier Reserve. We are now in the process of reviewing your feedback and will present the findings to you in the new year. Thank you for those that participated.

About the project

Council is considering providing a pump track (an asphalt circular track with bumps and jumps) for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy.

During COVID-19 lockdowns, community members built a BMX track in their local park at RF Julier Reserve, Port Melbourne. Unfortunately, safety issues meant the makeshift track couldn’t remain open. Now we would like to ensure bike riders and lovers of other wheeled sports all have the opportunity to play safely in their local area.

A pump track is now being considered at RF Julier Reserve. Join the conversation and help us understand the suitability of a pump track at this site.

Provide your feedback by 18 December 2022

Your feedback will be collated and presented to Council and will help Council make a decision on the suitability of a pump track at RF Julier Reserve. A report on what we heard from the community will be available publicly via this webpage.
