In October and November 2017, Council asked the community how they used the Park and for ideas to improve it.

We ran a drop-in session in the park to receive feedback directly. We also received input through Council’s on-line Have Your Say page, phone calls and emails to the Open Space team and Social media posts on Facebook and Twitter.

During the consultation we received:

• 221 unique page visitors

• 67 responses to the survey

• Over 50 community members to the onsite consultation

How you use the park

• the play space

• recreational activities

• sitting and reading.

Improvements you'd like to see

• improved seating and facilities

• feature trees and plants

• nature play opportunities.

These ideas were used to develop the draft concept design for the park.
