Council are planning proposed improvements to the intersection of Bay and Liardet Streets in Port Melbourne. As part of its works, Council has engaged consultants to develop possible options to improve safety for all road users including cyclists and pedestrians.

The survey results showed that 66.1% of respondents preferred Option 2 – Roundabouts. 18.5% of respondents did not like either option. Most of the respondents who did not like either option preferred traffic lights.

In addition 25 local residents attended an information session held on Wednesday 4 August at the Port Melbourne Town Hall.
