We’ve developed a draft Creative Port Phillip Strategy, outlining how we will support and grow our city’s creative industries, arts, festivals and events now and for years to come.

Thank you to everyone who shared their feedback on the draft objectives and actions of the strategy in June 2026. We're now analysing your feedback. Our report on what we heard will be available to read on this page soon.

On this page you can:

How will my feedback change this project?

We're eager to hear your feedback and combine this with other considerations such as costing, feasibility, and expert advice to make sure we create the best possible outcome for everyone.

Your feedback will shape decisions about:

      • Strategy objectives to ensure they are relevant, clear and supportive to a wide range of stakeholders.
      • Strategy actions to ensure they are prioritised based on community need

Parts of the project not able to be influenced include:

      • First Peoples content: This aligns to broader priorities and to actions in our Reconciliation Action Plan.
      • Overall funding of the strategy: The funding will be finalised as part of Council’s annual budget process.

Between Thursday 4 June and Sunday 5 July 2026, we asked your feedback on the draft objectives and actions of the strategy by completing one or all of the following activities:
  1. Help prioritise our actions
  2. Provide feedback on our objectives
  3. Upload broad feedback on the Strategy as a whole
