Consultation has concluded

The City of Port Phillip has concluded the formal exhibition of Planning Scheme Amendment C104, for land at 1-7 Waterfront Place, Port Melbourne. The Amendment and Design Guidelines will guide the future development on the privately owned site, ensuring good quality planning outcomes for our community.

Although the formal exhibition period has closed you can still view the Amendment and supporting documents via the Design Guidelines and Planning Scheme Amendment C104 page.

Council decisions

Council heard submissions at a public Council meeting on Tuesday 10 September 2013.

At its meeting on 24 September 2013 Council resolved to make changes to the Amendment in response to community submissions, as well as refer the Amendment and submissions to an Independent Planning Panel appointed by the Minister for Planning. Next steps
