We are working on enhancing Argyle Street in St Kilda to make it safer, greener and more pleasant for everyone.
We've developed a plan that focuses on feasible improvements within the street’s current width, with minimal impact on existing parking spaces.
On this page you can see that the proposed plan includes:
- Resurfacing of Argyle Street between St Kilda Road and Chapel Street
- Upgraded road humps to up to date standards to improve traffic calming, reduce speed, lower noise and ultimately improve safety
- In-road tree plots along the street
- Greening efforts, including tree planting
