Have your say on the final Draft Events Strategy and Draft Outdoor Events Policy
Council has developed a draft Events Strategy and draft Outdoor Events Policy that will help the City to deliver and attract the best events, activate the right places, and partner with the right organisations. The City of Port Phillip aims to plan, attract, and direct events to ensure our city is welcoming, healthy, safe, and vibrant for all.
The new events strategy will be a four-year guiding document that aligns with the aspirations of the City’s Council Plan.
Council plays an important role in delivering events, but also as a sponsor and facilitator of community-organised events and activities across Port Phillip.
The draft strategy has been developed, with a wide range of community members, with community engagement activities to hear directly from the community. Now we’d like your input to make sure we get the draft Events Strategy and draft Outdoor Events Policy right.
We welcome feedback until 5pm, 8 July, 2022. The feedback will be considered as part of reviewing and finalising the draft Events Strategy.
