Thank you to everyone who participated in the consultation on the new gates for St Kilda Botanical Gardens. The final decision will be announced here after a review of all feedback and administration processes are completed. Watch this space.

As part of the 150th year celebration of the St Kilda Botanical Gardens, the Port Phillip City Council has commissioned artists to design four new gates that will replace the existing chain mesh gates. Council plans to replace up to four of the existing gates as shown on the map in the image gallery.

Council received three submissions from artists and designers (one has since been withdrawn). You are invited to view the submissions and to comment on them by clicking on the options below. The options are also on display at the St Kilda Town Hall, where you can fill out a paper survey.

You can also 'vote' for your preferred design - see the link in the top right hand corner of this page.
