Anything the Council can do to make reporting of unsightly tagging from residential properties easier - currently a concerned neighbour has to take the forms to the property owner to have it attended too. I think this is something the council should be attending to when graffiti has been reported. Hopefully the proposed online reporting will address this? I have also witnessed graffiti happening and wasn't sure what to do - police (no time) ? council (which would have been unattended)? Perhaps information for residents would also help. A year later, still looking at 2 unsightly tagged garage doors every time I look out the front window...

Ban spray paint cans in Australia and the world eventually. They serve no useful purpose.

What about the Graffiti Removal Team being active at night time when the Graffiti is happening rather than in the hours of 7am - 5pm. This would surely deter the culprits and the team could get evidence of it actually happening. Wendy

And arm by-laws officers with tasers too. A good tasering might subdue the vandals enthusiasm
