The Draft Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2013 – 17 guides how we create a better, safer, healthier community for all.

To finalise the Draft Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2013 – 17, we’d like to hear from you.

The Draft Port Phillip Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2013 - 17 builds upon the strengths of the 2007-2013 plan.

The plan develops strategies based on the principles of social justice that build community resilience and will position the city for the challenges it faces now and into the future.

Input from residents, visitors, community agencies and business helped us identify key health and wellbeing themes from which nine priorities have been developed.

Implementation of the plan will be driven by an annual Action Plan which will be monitored and evaluated in partnership with the community. The Action Plan will be developed over the next five months and released in February 2014.

Have Your Say

To finalise the plan we invite you to answer our short online questionaire.

Consultation closes 16 October 2013.

Next steps

Following your feedback the amended plan will be submitted to Council in November for endorsement.

The Plan will then be submitted to the Victorian Department of Health on 29 November 2013.

Once the plan has been adopted, we will focus on developing the annual Action Plan (released in February 2014).
