The RF Julier Reserve netball courts are a popular venue for residents and sports clubs, with more people using our local sports facilities, especially for junior and women’s sport.

In November 2019, we asked the community to provide feedback on our proposal to install lighting at RF Julier Reserve netball courts. The majority of feedback received was in support of the lighting proposal.

Evening netball training currently occurs only in the summer months. The installation of lighting will allow for the courts to be used for evening training during the winter months, when the days are shorter.

A lighting plan has been prepared, using the latest technology to light the courts efficiently with minimal spill to surrounding properties.
