Thank you to all the residents, visitors, and businesses who shared feedback during the community engagement period in May 2024. Your feedback will helped inform the Carlisle Street Masterplan.
The project team is finalising the draft concept design for the Carlisle Street lighting project. As part of this process, we will be reviewing the recommendations to ensure they align with strategic objectives and community needs. The outcomes will be integrated into future Carlisle Street planning and upgrades, ensuring a cohesive approach to public realm improvements.

Project Information
We're working on making the City of Port Phillip's Activity Centres better. A big part of this is making our shopping areas brighter at night so that they are more inviting.
We're teaming up with Arup Australia to check out the current lighting on Carlisle Street. We're not just looking for brighter lights but also smarter ways to make the street feel more lively and more exciting after dark.
