Council officer speaks to a community member at a pop-up

Council officer speaks to a community member at a community conversation at VegOut Farmers' Market

It was a frosty autumn morning at VegOut Farmers' Market but that didn't stop the community from enjoying the wonderful stalls and surrounds of the market on Saturday 4 May. Council officers chatted with community members about a range of projects, including the Council Plan and Budget, Footpath Trading Guidelines and the draft Reconciliation Action Plan - Council's third RAP.

We heard some really wonderful ideas on how the community can help to support reconciliation in our City, thoughts on the new Footpath Trading Guidelines and a range of insightful reflections on the Budget, as well as chatting about Council's transition to e-permits for parking in our City.

We were joined by Councillor Baxter, Councillor Martin and Councillor Sirakoff who enjoyed some great discussions with the community.

Thanks to everyone who made a beeline for our marquee - we will be out and about for a few more chats across Port Phillip so keep your eyes peeled for our colourful project posters!
