Conversations in Port Melbourne

On 31 May 2025, Port Melbourne hosted a vibrant pop-up conversation event outside 162 Bay Street, inviting residents and visitors to share their views on local projects and community priorities. These pop-up sessions are part of the City of Port Phillip’s ongoing effort to engage the community directly, with short, accessible conversations held in public spaces to ensure everyone has a chance to be heard.

The Port Melbourne pop-up attracted around 31 participants who engaged one-on-one with Council officers, providing valuable feedback that will help shape some key initiatives, including an updated Domestic Animal Management Plan and Community Safety Plan. Councillors Heather Cunsolo and Alex Makin also attended to actively hear from our community.

Thanks to all of those that participated in helping shape a vibrant, inclusive Port Melbourne.
