Important update

Important update Our Coastal Future photographic competition judging

Dear Participants of the Our Coastal Future Photographic Competition,

We are writing to provide an update regarding the judging process for the competition.

It has come to our attention that the "likes" tracking system, while intended to be shared and engage the community, has limitations. Unfortunately, there is the potential for the number of ‘likes’ or votes to be altered by using multiple browsers or incognito mode.

We understand this could lead to an unfair representation of the community's true preferences. We have raised this issue with our website developers to explore potential improvements and prevent duplicate likes in future competitions.

Therefore, to ensure a fair and impartial outcome, the overall winner and category winners will be determined by a panel of independent judges in the coming weeks. This panel will consist of experienced photographers and experts in coastal management.

We apologise for any inconvenience or disappointment this change may cause. We appreciate your understanding and continued participation in the Our Coastal Future.

We hope to notify you of the winners soon.

Thank you for your patience and support.

Sincerely,

The Our Coastal Future Photographic Competition Team.
