About this project
The beloved play space at St Kilda Botanical Gardens is about to get a vibrant new lease on life!
The gardens are a cherished green haven where people come from across our municipality and Melbourne to relax, explore and spend time with friends and family.
We’re thrilled to announce plans for a major upgrade to the play space, designed to be more adventurous, more inclusive and more fun for everyone. Whether you're a child or young person, parent, grandparent or carer, the new design will aim to offer something for a range of age groups and abilities, creating a welcoming space where the whole community can connect, play, and thrive.
Let’s reimagine this space together and make it a true reflection of the many people that come to enjoy the gardens.
What you can influence on this project
Your feedback will help us develop a concept design for the space, including:
- what new equipment and features to install in the play space
- which current play space features we keep, upgrade or remove
- the overall design of the play space.
