The Transport and Access Study was prepared by traffic consultants URS Australia to determine the traffic demand and impacts caused by any potential new development at 1-7 Waterfront Place.

URS collected data on traffic movements and car parking utilisation on high use days:

• Sunday 25 November 2012 (a sunny day)

• Monday 19 November 2012 (a sunny day with a cruise ship) Single TT Line sailings occurred on both these days.

Overall, Sunday 25 November showed the highest car parking utilisation while Monday 19 November showed the highest traffic volumes. URS modelled the possible range of low, mid and high density options for redevelopment of Waterfront Place and determined that there was minimal additional adverse impact for any of the options modelled.
