Update: Engagement period is now closed
Thanks to everyone who provided feedback on this project. You can read about what we heard from the community during Stage 2 community engagement during November - December 2023 in the Stage 2 Engagement Summary Report. These findings will inform the final design of the Pump Track.
Help shape a new pump track at RF Julier Reserve
We are another step closer to building a new pump track at RF Julier Reserve.
A pump track is an asphalt bike track with bumps and jumps to create momentum without the need for pedalling - a community facility for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy.
Our specialist designer has developed a draft concept plan which we are excited to share with you. The plan includes:
- 105 metres of riding length including path, landings and batters with a range of features throughout the loops.
- a design that caters for all skill levels and user groups
- a continuous loop track that can be ridden in either direction and has transfer options between riding lines.
- track riding features including berms, rollers and jumps, shaped to allow for all riders to enjoy, from beginners to advanced.
You can read more about the community's support for the pump track and what we heard in November - December 2022, in the engagement summary report.
We would love you to take a look at the plan and tell us what you think, via the feedback form below.
