Thank you for your interest in attending our online Q&A budget session on 18 May at 7 pm. 

This session is an opportunity to share the unique challenges we face, the hard decisions we will need to make, and to answer your questions prior to the release of the draft Budget 2020/21. The draft Budget 2020/21 will be presented to Council for release in mid-June. We will be seeking community feedback on the draft at this time, prior to its adoption in late August.

The session will begin at 7 pm and finish at 8 pm, and will be hosted on the online platform Webex.  We recommend you start logging in to this event by 6.50 pm on your PC or laptop.

Please log in 10 minutes prior to the start of the session. We recommend using Google Chrome for the best results.   

  1. You will need to enter your name and email address to join the online session.    
  2. You may be prompted for an event password; if so, please enter budget2020
  3. You will then be prompted to download the temporary Webex app - please accept this action, you will need to run this application to join the session.

During the session only panellists and presenters will be visible. For privacy reasons, as an attendee you will not be visible to anyone else or be able to view other attendees. Your microphone will also be muted through the duration of the session. 

Submitting a question

You can submit a question during the session using the Chat tab, which will only be visible to you and the Mayor. All questions will be moderated, and any inappropriate or disrespectful questions will not be answered.  We cannot guarantee we will be able to answer every question during the session, but all Q&As will be shared to the Have Your Say page afterwards, along with a video recording of the session.
