Our Port Phillip community is changing, nearly 150,000 more people are expected to call Port Phillip home by 2036. This means our community infrastructure such as libraries and community centres will need to work even harder for everyone.

To help us plan for this change, we are developing a Community Infrastructure Plan. The Community Infrastructure Plan will guide Council’s planning and delivery of community infrastructure, including:

  • Libraries
  • Toy libraries
  • Kindergartens or long day care
  • Maternal and child health services
  • Youth centres or youth programs
  • Neighbourhood Houses
  • Multipurpose community centres
  • Arts and cultural spaces
  • Community health centres.

To help inform this Plan, we are seeking your feedback to identify and understand:

  • the types of community infrastructure you currently use
  • your experiences of accessing community infrastructure
  • where upgraded or additional community infrastructure is needed most.

The feedback you provide will help inform Council’s community infrastructure priorities in the short, medium and longer-term.
