The City of Port Phillip manages community gardens on council owned or managed land. The way we do this was raised by the community as a priority during consultation on council’s pending Open Space Strategy.

The draft Community Garden Assessment Guidelines aims to provide a basis on how council manages existing community gardens and how it will establish new community gardens in the city.

All feedback received during the consultation will be considered by Council at the Ordinary Council meeting on Wednesday 15 April 2020. People who have made a submission will be invited to attend this meeting.
