Aerial image of J L Murphy Reserve showing the two roads that are to be named

Two roads leading into JL Murphy Reserve are proposed to be named. The roads will be named after local indigenous plant species and relevant street signage will be erected.

  1. Graham St entrance as Blue Star Grove
  2. Plummer St entrance as River Mint Grove

Naming these entrances is necessary and has been formally requested by emergency services. It won’t change your day-to-day usage of the reserve or the facilities, but it will assist emergency services to save critical minutes reaching a crisis. It will also improve access for other essential services such as deliveries to onsite facilities.

Why are we doing this?

To improve accurate location information for emergency services, tenants and visitors.

How will this impact me?

It won’t affect your access to the reserve or the way you use its facilities. It will improve access for emergency services and other essential services such as onsite deliveries.
