Exciting changes to the marina site will include the removal of fencing to the marina perimeter and the private areas opening up the entire site to a wider variety of users 24 hours a day. The main entry for cars at the intersection of Marine Parade and Dickens St will still remain, however, there will be improvements made to the flow of traffic into the site. This will include simplifying traffic lanes to separate different users of the site such as members, boat ramp users, and other visitors.

There will also be improved wayfinding signage on site directing people to, from and within the marina.

Next to the main entry of the marina is the service station. The lease permits the petrol station to remain on the site for up to 10 years which presents an opportunity for this to be more than just a place to for fuel and snacks. We’d like to hear how you think this could be improved to accommodate all users of the marina site not just passing traffic.
