Thank you for your interest in this project. The recent stage of community consultation has concluded.
The City of Port Phillip is made up of distinct neighbourhoods, each with its own character. As our City grows these unique characteristics could be at risk and, without action, valued heritage places could be lost.
Heritage means different things to different people. Often what our community values is not covered by current heritage protection, but is important because of the traditions, experiences and values it represents.
Our community survey closed on 24 June 2018.
This feedback will inform Council’s review of our heritage policies and procedures, to be completed by 2021. The aim of this review is to align what heritage means to the community with heritage as assessed and managed by Council on the community's behalf.
