We are reviewing our Local Heritage Policy to ensure it responds to our community's growing and changing needs.
To support the policy, we have also prepared some Heritage Design Guidelines to explain the ways in which good design and development can be achieved. The guidelines include information such as how to accommodate environmentally sustainable features, for example solar panels, in heritage places.
Once finalised, these documents will guide how we make decisions on planning applications for developments within areas that have heritage overlays.
