Under the Local Government Act 2020 (the Act), all Victorian councils must have a Procurement Policy in place by 31 December 2021 that meets all the requirements outlined in the Act.

Our current Procurement Policy meets most of these requirements, so we are using this policy as the basis for developing a new policy.

Next steps

All submissions received will be presented to Council at the 1 December 2021 Council Meeting prior to consideration of a new Procurement Policy for adoption. If you’d like to speak to your submission at this Council meeting please complete this online form by 4 pm on 30 November 2021.
