All procurement activity at Council is governed by our Procurement Policy, which outlines the principles, objectives and requirements that we must meet when purchasing goods or services on behalf of Council.

Under the Local Government Act 2020 (the Act), all Victorian councils must have a Procurement Policy in place by 31 December 2021 that meets all the requirements outlined in the Act.

Our current Procurement Policy meets most of these requirements, so we are using this policy as the basis for developing a new policy.
