We
are improving our local shopping villages to make them more vibrant, welcoming
and enjoyable places to spend time, not just pass through. Right now, we are
focusing on:
- Bridport Street/Victoria Ave (Albert Park)
- Armstrong Street (Middle Park)
- Ormond/Glen Huntly Road (Elwood)
We’re looking at simple, cost-appropriate improvements like more greenery, better lighting and more places to sit and rest. Whether you visit often, are a local trader, or live nearby, your feedback will help us decide what changes to prioritise and turn ideas into real improvements.
Share your ideas before 11.59pm on Sunday 16 August 2026. Our short survey takes around 3 to 4 minutes to complete, and your input will help
shape what we deliver first and guide future upgrades.
On this page you can:

What you can't influence on this project
Some parts of the project can’t change:
- We must follow safety rules, building laws and heritage protections.
- The total budget is already set, but your feedback helps decide how it is spent.
- Things like rubbish collection, emergency access and utilities must keep working as usual.
- Existing Council policies guide how these projects are planned and delivered.
